Inability to Withdraw Due to Name Mismatch

Updated today

Withdrawals require that the bank account name matches your Bayse account name. If not, withdrawals cannot be processed. If there’s a mismatch, your withdrawal process will not go through.

Why Does Name Mismatch Matter?

  • Security: Matching names ensure funds go only to the rightful account owner.

  • KYC Compliance: Bayse Markets is required by law to verify the identity of users before processing withdrawals.

  • Fraud Prevention: Prevents stolen or borrowed accounts from being used to move money.

Common Reasons for Name Mismatch

  1. Spelling Errors: A typo in your KYC document (NIN or BVN) used to verify your Bayse profile and your bank details (e.g., Adekunle vs Adenkunle).

  2. Unverified Account (KYC): Your account hasn’t been fully verified, so the system can’t confirm your identity.

How to Fix a Name Mismatch Issue

  1. Complete Your KYC Verification.

  2. Check Your Bank Details: Make sure your bank account name matches your profile name exactly.

  3. Update Your Details: If there’s a typo or nickname, reach out to Bayse Markets Support via mail at support@bayse.markets You will be asked to upload a valid government-issued ID for verification.
