A combo is settled only after all of its active selections have been resolved.
For your combo to win, every active selection must settle in your favour.
If one active selection loses, the combo settles at zero.
A voided selection is different from a losing selection.
What happens when a selection is voided?
A selection can be voided when its underlying market is cancelled or refunded instead of settling as Yes or No.
Common reasons include:
A match is abandoned.
A match is postponed beyond the allowed resolution period.
A player is scratched.
A player does not start where the market rules require them to.
The underlying market is cancelled.
The exact void conditions are always stated in the individual market’s rules.
A voided selection is removed from the combo
If one of your selections is voided, it is simply removed from the combo.
The remaining selections continue to determine the outcome.
Example:
You create a 3-selection combo:
Team A to win
Over 2.5 goals
Player B to record 2+ shots
If the Player B selection is voided, your combo continues with:
Team A to win
Over 2.5 goals
A voided selection is not treated as a loss. It is removed from the Combo, and the remaining selections continue to determine the outcome.
Example:
If you have a 3-leg Combo with a potential payout of ₦10,000. One of the three legs is later voided.
Because the Combo now contains fewer legs, its potential payout is recalculated and may be lower, for example, your potential payout could drop from ₦10,000 to ₦6,000.
This is expected and does not mean your trade was incorrectly settled.
Your remaining selections keep their original prices
When a selection is voided, Bayse does not re-price the remaining selections using their current market prices.
The surviving selections keep the prices they had when you originally created the combo.
This means your combo is recalculated using the selections and prices from your original quote.
What if only one selection remains?
A combo can reduce to a single selection if all the other selections are voided.
The remaining selection settles using its original combo price.
What if every selection is voided?
If every selection in your combo is voided, you receive a full refund of your trade amount.
What happens to collateral after a void?
A voided selection reduces the maximum possible payout of the combo.
Any collateral that is no longer needed to cover the reduced payout is automatically released.
Your combo remains active while the remaining selections are being resolved.
Player props and voids
The same principle applies to player-stat markets.
For example, if you add a player-stat selection to a combo and the player does not start the match, that selection may be voided depending on the market’s rules.
It will then be removed from the combo rather than being counted as a loss.
