Getting Started with Deposits on Bayse Markets

Updated over 3 weeks ago

This quick guide shows you how to fund your wallet, the available methods, and what to watch out for when making deposits.

You can fund your wallet in two ways:

  1. Crypto (USDT/ USDC)

  2. Local Currency (Naira)

1. Depositing with USDT (Crypto)

  • Open the Bayse app β†’ Go to Wallet

  • Switch to the USD Wallet

  • Select Fund with Crypto

  • Choose your preferred network:

    • BEP20 (Binance Smart Chain)

    • Solana

  • Copy your wallet address or scan the QR code

  • Send your crypto from your external wallet

Your balance will update once the transaction is confirmed.

Important

  • Only send supported tokens (USDT or USDC)

  • Ensure you select the correct network (BEP20 or Solana)

  • Sending via an unsupported token or network may cause delays or loss of funds

  • Always confirm the wallet address before sending

2. Depositing with Naira

  1. Open the Bayse Markets app β†’ Go to Wallet.

  2. If on the USD wallet, switch to Naira first.

  3. Select Naira Wallet β†’ Deposit.

  4. Enter the deposit amount.

  5. A virtual bank account will be generated. (Always generate a virtual account for each deposit.)

  6. Transfer from your bank app to the account provided.

  7. Funds will reflect in your balance after payment.

Important:

  • A 1% fee applies to all deposits. This fee is charged by the payment providers not Bayse Markets.

  • Each virtual account can only be used once.

  • Reusing an account may cause a double deposit. Refunds usually take between immediately to 7 days.
