Building a Combo: What Can and Can’t Be Combined

Not every Bayse market can be combined into a combo.

Before a combo is priced, Bayse checks the relationship between your selected markets to make sure they can be combined fairly and reliably.

There are three important types of relationships:

Independent selections are outcomes that have little or no relationship with each other.

For example:

Because the outcomes are from unrelated events, they are generally more independent.

These types of markets are among the first to support combo trading.

Correlated selections are related, meaning one outcome can affect the likelihood of another.

However, one selection does not guarantee the other.

First-Half Result + Full-Match Result

Some selections cannot happen together.

Home Win + Away Win

A match cannot end with both the home team and away team winning.

Another example:

Home Win + Draw

A match cannot be both a home win and a draw.

These combinations are rejected because there is no possible outcome where both selections are correct.

A combination is redundant when one selection already guarantees another.

Over 1.5 Goals + Over 2.5 Goals

If there are more than 2.5 goals, there must also be more than 1.5 goals.

Adding both selections does not create two separate conditions, so the combination is rejected.

You can also combine legs from different categories in the same Combo. For example, a Finance market can be combined with a Sports market, or a Crypto market with a Finance market, as long as each market is eligible for Combos.

Each individual market must meet Bayse's requirements for Combo trading before it becomes available.
